Online Private Lessons
If far away, think about a lesson online! I've found that Zoom is easier and better than Skype. If it suits you, give it a try!
Finding available lesson times/rescheduling lessons
To find available lessons times, look for the light blue time slots and click on them to "register for event", which will send me a message that you'd like to schedule a lesson then. NOTE: if you are viewing the calendar from the visitor's page, please enter your name in the text box so I know who sent the message.
For rescheduling or cancelling a lesson you can click on your lesson time and click the "Cancel or Reschedule" option which will send me a message AND will automatically cancel your lesson. To reschedule you can type in a message in the box as to when you'd like to have the lesson, or click on an available time and "register" for that (see above). All this is good if you find it easy; if not, just call or email and we'll sort things out the old-fashioned way!
EdPearlman.net -- website for recordings, learning, reading materials
Announcing -- my new website at http://www.EdPearlman.net where you can learn about my new recording, the CD release of my older recording, find materials for learning fiddle, sheet music, and articles to read. Check it out; there's lots to come on the site, so stay tuned and let me know what you think.
Ed Pearlman's band website
I invite you to visit my website for Highland Soles, my family band and more. The site is at http://www.highlandsoles.com It has info about where I'm playing, what we do, info about the music and dance, and links about events and camps. See this and other links by clicking "RESOURCES" above.
Finger Finder for Violin
I created a slide rule gadget that will show you fingerings on the violin for playing in all keys. It is very handy for understanding the fingering map as you learn the fiddle. You can see a picture and a form for requesting a Finger Finder by clicking on "RESOURCES" above to view the link to the Finger Finder webpage--or just ask me about it by email or at a class or lesson. It's also available at the store at http://www.EdPearlman.net
